DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker Review
After the last round of price increases on our local Starbuck's, I went looking for a replacement. I can have coffee or a latte every day, my wife, a bar, a couple of times a week, and the child may be a foam of milk every once in awhile '. Among all the sweet temptation of the Starbuck's, I spent $ 5 – $ 10 per visit to Starbuck's. I was looking for a simple machine and liked that this machine supports regular espresso and ESE pods, so I could return to Earth regularly, if Inot like sleeves. I took a sample from pod Podmerchant PodMerchant Best Selling Espresso Pods Sampler and pods are sold, they are easy to clean and the taste is just as good in my opinion. FYI We settled on sleeves Classic Lucaffé as our favorite from the sampler.
I agree with the points to allow the instrument to heat for 15 minutes, especially if you need to start your espresso drink too hot. The heating cups sitting on top of the machine is also agood advice, or heating in the microwave for a few seconds.
At about 50 cents per wafer, more 90-ish for the machine, it has already paid for itself. We have almost finished drinking a case of 150 portions of two shots each to find in a $ 5 to drink Starbuck's, we are at:
This machine: $ 90 + (75 * drinks (2 x 50 cents per pod) + (75 * 25 cents for milk drinks) = $ 183.75
Starbucks: 75 Drinks: $ 5 = $ 375
Note that unlike machines really cheap is not the steamer wandis connected to the production of espresso, so you can run the steamer wand as you like.
